Question:

my van was over filled with oil and revved its nuts off but I stalled it straight away. I drained the oil and replaced it with the correct amount. I left it sit for a day hoping the excess oil would run out of the system, It wouldn't start off the key, jump or bump so I bumped it off a tow in 3rd and it started but was burning off the oil, it would idle then before cutting out. I don't think theres a problem with the engine I just think its something silly, is there any thing I could try? is it possible to have the engine flushed so to speak? its a Renault kangoo 1.5 2003

Question:

Hello, I have a 2003 Ford Fusion 1.4TDCi. It has done 27,000 miles and has just returned from its service, a journey of approx 4 miles. I checked the oil level, as they had placed less oil in this service as they did on the 18000 mile service. The oil is at the correct level, but is already black, not honey coloured as you would expect new oil to be. Would a journey of 4 miles have created this colour change, or should I be suspiciuous? Thank you.

Question:

My son has a 1994 Ford Mustang. He put on some fancy expensive oil filter when he changed his oil. It oil pressure began to vary from normal to very low out of normal. I made him change back to the recommended oil filter and oil and the problem seems to have gone away. He still see an oil pressure drop as the engine warms up and increases as he revs the engine. Is it common for a Ford Mustang oil pressure to change from high normal to lower normal in normal running?
